Network growing

As the Fallout 3 node is nearing completion, I'd like to say a little thanks here to all who have made it possible. However there is some bad news.. There might not be an editor for Fallout 3 after all. This means we will have to do a lot more work in orde to mod anything in the game. We will eventually be able to bring out at least some form of mod. If it will ever be possible to do a total conversion of the game, or even add a new monster for that matter .. we don't know yet. Likely we will be able to use the Oblivion editor on the same files, perhaps with a slight adustment to the editor. In any case .. .we will endevour to find out.Stay tuned for more RPG MODS Network news ...

Site progression

Well we are slowly getting back on our feet.Oblivion mods is the most restored site from the RPG mods network for now. People are working hard on NWN2, Fallout 3 and of course our Gothic 3 mods section to be restored to its full glory. There are some glitches to be dealt with on all the sites, but in general everuything is running smooth. In fact things are going so well that at peek times of the day, the server is getting a little overloaded. We'll have to do some serious capacity planning before Fallout 3 is released and people start sharing their mods on our network. We have some contacts at hosting companies who have already pledged to help us out. Many people are putting their hands together to restore what once was .... thanks everyone for your help. And remember, if you are a mod developer, please submit your mods to our sites.Axe Webmaster of the RPG Mods network.Submit Oblivion Mods (http://www.elderscrolls-oblivion.com/mod-downloads/func-addfile/) Submit NWN2 Mods (http://neverwinternights2.rpg-mods.com/mod-downloads/func-addfile/) Submit Fallout 3 Mods (http://fallout3.rpg-mods.com/downloadarea/func-addfile/) Submit Gothic 3 Mods (http://gothic3.rpg-mods.com/downloadarea/func-addfile/)

RPG Mods network hacked !

Yes it's true ... we've been hacked. All content, includin that of daughter site Neverwinter Nights 2 mods and Gothic 3 mods. Worst hit was taken by Elderscrolls-Oblivion mods as hundreds of mods where lost from the database and the user forum was completely deleted. This is a bad blow for the network, but we shall arise again. We have plans to introduce the following :Free hosting from RPG-Mods.comYou can get your own free sub-domain here at RPG-Mods.com. Imagine running a site like Fallout3.rpg-mods.com or any other RPG you like. We supply you with : Free server space, free sub domain name, free traffic and we will also send you visitors as you are part of the RPG-Mods network. That's what it means to be part of a community. All you will need to do is login to the site and post information you think is relevant. You do not need to know a single line of HTML or PHP code, it will be as easy as Google Blogger.com.
